Pranay - 10th Grade
Pranay came to the mentorship with a lot of programming experience. He knew he wanted to apply AI to healthcare/medicine, but was struggling to discover a novel project idea and organize the project.Through working with one of our mentors who specialized in healthcare, he eventually built a novel system for multi-model segmentation of lungs, helping in early cancer detection. The project won 2nd place at the Massachusetts State Science Fair, and he is now publishing the work in a research journal
